The Salton Sea has been associated with feral reptiles including giant pythons and Komodo Dragons but the reports of Bigfoot in the area have increased dramatically in the last decade. The area has undergone a very minor revitalization recently with the restoration of the Yacht Club which is now a Visitor Center.
